The Lads Down Under

More of our ‘Cool T-Shirts’ doing crazy things!!

"Just a few pics of us in your t-shirts. We have been "Red Snapper" fishing in the Bay of Islands and did a 12000ft skydive in Taupo – New Zealand. We, and the t-shirts, travelled at terminal velocity, 200 kph!! I have a feeling this is the furthest your t-shirts have gone? We also have been to Rangutika which is actually the first place in the world to see the sun each and every day. Next week we are doing the biggest bungy jump in the world and we will wear your t-shirts again for that!"

Snowboarding In Flaine

Some of the best snow conditions that I have ever seen…Awesome!!

[Admin: Shame about the subject]

[Andy: Thought I looked quite tall with the height chart behind !]

Mike in Goa

Another shirt….another country.

Mike Williams parasailing off the coast of the former Portuguese colony of Goa (India) wearing an Andys & Co T-shirt.
Mike say’s " I was ‘launched’ off the back of a speedboat and had about 10 mins in the air. They let me drift down so I dipped into the sea a couple of times during the ‘flight’ and then I was hauled back down to land on the boat again. Had some amazing views of the coast, including the nearby ancient Portuguese Fort Aguada and nearby beaches at Candolim and Calangute".

Letters From Kilimanjaro

A letter from Rob Hargroves:

"Hi Andy,

Herewith images of me on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro together with my certificate of achievement. Sorry that I didn’t put the Andys T shirt on, but it was -20 deg c and just too cold !!

Regards,

Rob"

Check the gallery for the full res pics and, yes, his certificate was genuine!

Flying Shirts

Well, so far I’ve taken the fabulous Andys Co T shirt to such places as Rekyavik, Iceland, Narsarsuak, Greenland, Goose bay Canada, and everyone who saw it was impressed. It holds the dirt better than any of those poncy kitchen towels, and it can really soak up oil spills.

I use it after every flight for wiping the dead bugs off the wings, & whenever I check the oil on my engine, I say to myself "thank God I brought my Andys Co T shirt". I’d recommend it for any cleanup jobs which can get messy, so wearing one in a barbers shop is a really good idea.

Andys Co T shirts – don’t leave home without one!

Indian Wanderings

Another tale of wandering T shirts …

I recently went to Ladakh in North East India to climb a (straightforward) 6121m mountain called Stok Kangri. I hadn’t worn the AndysCo T shirt up to that point to keep it clean for the photos, and the smell of clean clothes on the summit was surprisingly strong to those of us grown used to the smell of sweat, horse poo and “earth closets”.

Tip: train yourself to dump before dawn before the flies wake up.

The T shirt now belongs to a Sherpa called Pasang and is probably now in Nepal.

PS Thanks to Ollie for the facial hair advice.
